I was hesitant to try a thing new as my stove actually cherished the Turman. I burned a skid of Northern Max and BOY OH BOY, these pellets held their body weight! I have the exact hot heat output as I did with Turman and very little to no ash in any way. This pellet is as fantastic as Turman, and I will certainly be purchasing more of Northern Max
